Bodanu Back in Stock helps merchants recover demand from out-of-stock products by collecting restock signups, sending alerts, saving wishlist demand, and showing preorder messaging.
Setup checklist
- Install the app and approve the requested Shopify scopes.
- Open the app in Shopify Admin and choose a plan.
- Open Settings and confirm the widget is enabled.
- Open the Shopify theme editor and add the Back in Stock app block below the buy buttons on the product template.
- Customize widget text, colors, wishlist visibility, browser push, and preorder settings.
- Open Templates and review the email template.
- Test with an unavailable variant, submit a signup, then increase inventory to trigger a restock alert.
Recommended first test
Create or choose a product with one unavailable variant. Visit the product page, click Notify me, submit an email, and confirm the subscriber appears in the app. Then change inventory from unavailable to available and confirm a delivery is created.
