Bodanu Back in Stock Terms of Service

These Terms apply to merchants who install and use Bodanu Back in Stock. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to use the app only in compliance with applicable laws, Shopify policies, and the merchant's own customer-facing policies.

Service overview

Bodanu Back in Stock provides restock alerts, wishlist demand capture, preorder messaging, reporting, and optional integrations. The app does not guarantee sales, revenue recovery, email deliverability, or inventory accuracy when external systems provide stale or incomplete data.

Merchant responsibilities

  • Configure the app accurately for the merchant's products, inventory rules, and notification preferences.
  • Use notification features only where the merchant has a lawful basis to contact shoppers.
  • Publish appropriate privacy, consent, unsubscribe, preorder, and customer support information.
  • Verify sender domains before using branded email sending.
  • Keep third-party integration credentials secure and remove credentials that are no longer needed.

Notifications and consent

The app collects product-specific restock requests. Merchants are responsible for ensuring that notification copy, consent text, and marketing use of subscriber data comply with laws that apply to their store and customers.

Billing

Paid plans and usage charges, when enabled, are billed through Shopify-managed billing. Plan limits may affect alert volume, integrations, browser push, wishlist, preorder, analytics, and support features.

Availability and changes

The service may change over time. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed for operational, security, compliance, or platform reasons.

Limitation

The app is provided as a software service and depends on Shopify, email providers, browsers, DNS providers, and other third-party infrastructure. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bodanu is not liable for indirect, incidental, lost-profit, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
