Why is the widget not visible?
Confirm the Back in Stock app block is added to the product template in the Shopify theme editor. The notify button is shown for unavailable variants. The wishlist button depends on the merchant wishlist setting and plan.
Why did a preorder message not appear?
The product variant must be unavailable, preorder must be enabled for the shop, the plan must allow preorders, and the variant must have an active preorder rule.
Why did no email send?
Confirm Amazon SES is configured, the sender identity is verified, the store has not exceeded its notification limit, and the worker process is running.
Can I use my store's sender domain?
Yes, if you control DNS for that domain or subdomain. You cannot use a myshopify.com domain because Amazon SES requires DKIM and Mail-From DNS records.
Does the wishlist create Shopify customer account wishlists?
No. The launch wishlist captures shopper demand for reporting and shopper convenience. Guest wishlist items are tied to a browser visitor token. Customer information is attached when available.
Does SMS work?
SMS is not public at launch. It is hidden while sender provisioning, consent, verification, international coverage, and usage billing are finalized.
How does Klaviyo work?
Merchants can connect a Klaviyo private API key, select a list, and let the app sync restock subscribers to Klaviyo. The app still sends default restock emails itself unless a future Klaviyo flow-sender mode is enabled.
